Richard
Roshon's multi-media presentations have delighted and inspired audiences
in Hawaii, throughout the United States, and as far as South Africa. He
has spoken to audiences in every type of setting- from conferences to
cruise lines - from Universities to the National Geographic Museum in
Washington D.C. In 1999, Richard was the guest speaker at the Hermanus
Whale Festival, held in Hermanus, South Africa. Sponsors of the Festival
reported that his lectures "Drew unprecedented interest from the
public and the media."
"Man, Kayak and the Whale" is a human-interest program involving more than 30 years of observing North Pacific Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Hawaiian Islands. His multi-media program places his audience in the cockpit of his kayak, while whales lie by his side. His narrative is informative and inviting. Richards passion and dedication for the protection and respect for our natural surroundings is unending. Richard's program shares the beauty and fragility of Maui, Hawaii; his experiences with sharks, and the fifth largest species of the cetacean society; the North Pacific Humpback Whale. All from the cockpit of his kayak. Richard continually updates his program. Honorarium for Richard's multi-media presentation can be acquired by contacting Richard Roshon at: |
